Yes! Elements will support not only the REF but our Excellence in Scholarship programme as well. Researchers will be able to see very clearly what their tasks are linked to those activities. It will be much easier and more transparent for you to make selections for both exercises.

Elements has already been used by many other institutions to link to the REF submissions system. Digital Science, who develop the Symplectic Elements CRIS, always work proactively, and with their customers, to ensure the system is fit for purpose for the REF. So any updated guidelines that emerge over the next few months for REF2028 will be taken into account in future product upgrades.
